In personality, Spud is a little 'mini-me' of his Dad, Darcy. He is a little clown that just loves to entertain. He is really enjoying playing 'show dog' and loves to show off in the ring. Spud hates to be left behind in the trolley when it is some one else's turn in the ring.
As well as his personality, Spud also seems to have inherited Darcy's beautiful silky coat, which never matts.
Our little guy has been doing great in the ring with multiple Classes in Group to date, and strong places at Specialty shows.
*** 2008 has seen Spud winning his first CC, and then his first BOB. At just 10 months (Feb, 2008) Spud is already well on the way to his Championship title. At Bega Valley Kennel Club Show Spud was 1st in 6 - 12 Sweepstakes, and also Puppy in Show.
21/3/08 Spud wins the Puppy Dog class at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, going on to take Puppy of Breed, and going one better than his mother did in 2006 by being 'Puppy of Day' for the Toy Ring ***
