Cleo is our first Cavalier. We first met her when we went to see her litter at just four weeks of age.
We originally purchased Cleo as a 'pet', without a thought of showing. As responsible pet owners, we had her desexed at six months. When we obtained further dogs to show Cleo's breeder arranged for her to be transferred to the Main Register so Cleo could be shown in the 'Neuter' Class. Cleo has won numerous Neuter in Groups and 8 Neuter in Shows (All Breeds & Specialties). Cleo is pretty much retired from the showring, although given the opportunity she loves to strut her stuff.
Cleo has gained a number of Agility titles; Agility Dog (AD), Jumping Dog (JD), Australian Agility Dog (AAD), Novice Agility Certificate (NAC) and Novice Jumping Certificate (NJC).
Cleo has been a challenging companion to compete with at times - her love of wonderful smells sometimes too much to overcome! Due to other commitments, we have been competing in limited trials over the past couple of years, however, Cleo is close to finishing off another couple of titles, which we hope to complete in 2008.
Being the multi-talented girl that she is, Cleo 'writes' a bi-monthly column for the CKCS Club of NSW Newsletter.
Cleo is the undisputed 'Top Dog' of our household.
