Welcome to Ceellen Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Current News - December 2011

Congratulations to Chico - winner of the CKCS Club of NSW Stud Dog Pointscore for 2011!!

We currently have two litters, born October and November - details on the Puppies page.

We were pretty quiet during 2010 due to the arrival of our first 'two legged' litter, our son, Alexander Michael. Alex arrived two and half weeks early on Sept 7, 2010, meaning Linda missed the CKCS Club of NSW show on Sept 11 & 12 (but still managed to wash 3 dogs to send to the show!).

We have enjoyed getting out to a few shows so far in 2011, although we are not actively showing at the moment as we are busy with puppies.

We have been actively involved with Cavaliers since our first Cavalier,
Cleo, came into our lives in 2001. With Cleo we compete in Agility and Jumping trials.

Having grown up showing horses, Linda had always been interested in one day showing dogs, and is well known, it is hard to stop at one Cavalier! Other dogs soon joined our home, with Darcy (Ch Cavandra Hemmingway) going on to be our first Champion with some very good wins.

In January 2005 we registered our prefix, Ceellen, pronounced C-L-N. The name is derived from C-Cleo, L-Linda, N-Nick. We hadn't intended to breed our first litter until 2007, however, in 2006 the opportunity arose to lease Ch Merseyport Bardot from our good friend Marilyn Madigan of Merseyport Cavaliers. Bardot gave us five beautiful babies, including Lizzi (Ch Ceellen Evangelista). Lizzi is the first Ceellen Champion.

In 2006 we relocated from Sydney to a small acreage in the lovely town of Berry, on the South Coast of NSW, about two hours South of Sydney. The dogs have a fenced yard of about half an acre - a vast improvement on our inner city backyard!

All of our dogs live with us in our home, and are Cardiologist and Opthalmologist tested.

We are both past committee members of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of NSW, with Linda having served as Vice President, Newsletter Editor and Webmaster and Nick as Treasurer.
